A NETWORK OF COMMUNITIES.

Renaissance is a grassroots movement of Jesus people, based out of Waltham and serving the Greater Boston area, who are creating spiritual community where they’re already living life. We DREAM together of God using every kind of person (not just pastors/clergy), to CREATE communities of unconditional belonging, who ENJOY the freedom found in the life of Christ offers us. We call these communities “microchurches” and they meet at different times, at different places, led by normal people. In doing so, these communities create safe space to explore faith and are rooted in the places where we live, work, and play. This means our faith isn’t limited to buildings or programs, or detached from our real lives, but is actually connected to making a difference in the real world.

THE SPACES WHERE WE GATHER. ​

Communities are our primary way of gathering together. These communities operate as microchurches that live out our rhythms in unique ways, in everyday places. They all look different and meet at different times.
Our Celebrations are the place for all of our microchurch Communities to gather together to worship as a larger movement and celebrate what God is doing. These take place on the first Sunday of every month, and anyone is welcome! 
We offer recurring experiences to help people discover Jesus, reimagine church, find their purpose, and learn to live out the way of Jesus in their neighborhood. These are a great place to connect with Renaissance and discover Jesus.
